In pilotSENTINEL is the support flagship: it polls every service and dependency, opens an incident after repeated failure, restarts only the units a human pre-approved, and keeps saying 'recovery attempted, verification pending' until it has seen the service answer again. Production-critical systems are never restarted automatically; they escalate to a person with the evidence.
What it does
Owners of small shops get woken by alerts that turn out to be nothing and miss the one that mattered. SENTINEL batches nonurgent faults into a morning digest and sends critical ones at once, with what happened, what was tried, and what decision is needed.
Every automatic action is limited to a written runbook, logged with its output, and verified on the next poll before anything is called resolved. That rule is tested, not promised.
